ABOUT FOREVER VIEW

Forever View - the name that says it all!
Wake up to one of the most spectacular views in Knysna surrounded by nature. This accommodation is set within a nature area, and nestled in the natural Knysna Sand Fynbos. You can expect wild animals like porcupines, buck, caracal, honey badger, tortoises, field mice, a large variety of birds like raptors, swallows, finches, owls, guinea fowl, the endangered Cape dune mole, honey bees, butterflies, dung beetles, etc. View all of the plant and animal species that have been observed on the property on iNaturalist: https://www.inaturalist.org/places/uitzigt-216-portion-47

The views over Knysna, lagoon, forest and mountains are magnificent.
The accommodation overlooks the Knysna Lagoon and three mountain ranges.
'Forever View', the best view in Knysna. Accommodation consisting of two bedrooms - "Dusk' and 'Dawn'. Dusk and Dawn each consist of a bedroom with a private shared entrance, two single beds / or Queen size bed, an en-suite bathroom & a shared balcony with awesome views.

ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS

From the West - Sedgefield:

​

  • From the N2 - 6km before Knysna and just before crossing over the lagoon, turn left towards Belvidere and Brenton at the White Bridge.

  • Follow the hairpin bend, keeping right, back underneath the White Bridge (N2) towards Brenton (Western Heads Conservancy).

  • Continue straight along President CR Swart drive, passing the Belvidere turnoff on the left and continue over the railway line.

  • Pass Margaret’s Viewpoint on the left, 1.3km after the railway crossing. 

  • After 600m, look out for the small ‘Forever View in 200m’ signboard on the left.

  • After 200m the ‘Forever View’ Entrance is on the left with the family crest and entrance signboard on the right opposite the entrance.

 

From the East – Plettenberg Bay and Knysna:

  • Follow the N2 through Knysna towards Sedgefield. 

  • 6 km after exiting Knysna town centre, following the N2 around the Knysna Lagoon, turn right just after crossing the White Bridge over the Knysna river towards Belvidere and Brenton.

  • Follow the hairpin bend, keeping right, back underneath the White Bridge (N2) towards Brenton.

  • Continue straight along President CR Swart drive, passing the Belvidere turnoff on the left and continue over the railway line.
